Crystal Waters
An installation done for Ontario place's Lumiere exhibition in 2025
This exhibit explores the dreamlike, using dramatic lighting and color to breathe life into objects. Drawing inspiration from the neon hues typically associated with nightlife, the display evokes a sense of fluidity and motion. As night falls, a new expression emerges—a transformed space where previously unseen aspects come to light. In this dynamic environment, we are invited to experience new ways of existing, uncovering what remains hidden during the day. By employing abstract forms and shapes that evoke the human body, the exhibit blurs the line between reality and abstraction. What appears as a single object by day is reimagined at night, becoming an expressive interplay of color and movement. This dreamlike atmosphere invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a world of expression and transformation.
